Should I snub my husband?

In 2006 I asked my husband to design a website for my business. He posted a page that says coming soon and then never moved farther from there. Every year we pay to have this website hosted. I’ve been asking him on and off since 2006 to get this done. But he doesn’t do it – I’ve asked why – he says he has to work first before finishing my site and he said that he thinks I need to have more info for him. I designed a site myself (on paper) and gave it to him, but he still doesn’t finish it.

Do you think it would be ok for me to buy my own web site software and get a new domain name and just do it all myself? He will be offended because I’ll have to do this on a PC and he does everything on a MAC. But I don’t know how to publish anything to the site that he created for me since he never gave me the info. If I purchase the software myself and buy my domain name myself I’ll have control of it. Which kind of makes me feel better.

What should I do?
He’ll see it as a waste of money if I go through purchasing a new domain name and website.

what PhD program should I choose- please suggest?

I received my B.A in Applied Linguistics/ELT from a leading private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. For more than last 2 years I’ve been working as a Product Specialist in a US-Danish software company. Simply put, I make technical stuff non-technical for Dell’s global marketing operation through our company’s developed software, I also do QA, bug report, manage documentation department, train new employees, do software demonstrations for global participants bla bla.. .

Apart from academic studies, I’ve been attached with computer and IT since early 1998, worked many part time/contract jobs for local computer firms, local computer magazines published a few of my articles on various topics.

I graduated with a CGPA of 3.5 out of 4. It’s because of Math I couldn’t study computer science/engineering. But apart from programming language, I do/can do anything and everything around PC.

Now I am thinking of going to the States for PhD. I am wondering about a program which would blend part of my academic learning and part of job learning. A program which would NOT include programing, coding but more on communication/interaction/learning/teaching through computer in real world scenario. Someone told me about Univ of Michigan Ann Arbor’s School of Information doctoral program.

Could you please suggest me something here- a good school with more funding, acceptance rate etc.

Which software is best for setting pages of a book that I’m writing in A5 size? And what printer would be best

Trying to do home printing/ self-publishing of christian books for our church. No need to get profit just to recover costs. Have fair-sized study and good PC. What software would be best to produce A5 size, ready-to-print pages and which printer could I buy to do the job? Which binder would I use to do perfect binding? Is is possible to get some of the software through shareware/ freeware?
