Most books don’t meet needs inasmuch as they do not provide an unbiased / independent view – most support the current system. There is a great need for inspiring educational material (for teachers and pupils / students).

A significant shift towards digital would save trees and be green.

The best way to market is via the internet if given a decent budget.

Peter – You should check into Cvent’s Web Surveys software suite. It has all the things you’ve listed above, plus other features I’m sure you’ll find very valuable. Here’s the run down based on your criteria:

* Our client services team is available 24×5 with weekend hours. Almost every one of our calls are answered in under 90 seconds – or if you’d prefer there’s also email support. There is unlimited support, so it doesn’t matter which survey package is right for you – we’ll be there to help. One of the things I think clients should take advantage of is our complimentary survey consultation. We’ll go through your survey (and emails) with you before you launch to make sure everything is set up right, there aren’t any misspellings and make suggestions based on best practices.

* You have the ability to fully customize the look of your survey to ensure it matches your organization’s branding. To get you started, we have a large library of graphical templates that you can further customize with different headers, footers, logos, etc.

* Cvent Web Surveys has over 20 question types available when you’re creating surveys. In addition, we have several different types of question logic (sub-questions, skip and branch logic, link logic – where you can show answers in one question based on the answer to previous question, other advanced logic filters) to help you make an engaging survey that have low abandonment rates. Like all good survey tools, you have the flexibility to require questions, randomize answer choices, and even set the format for your open ended questions.

* Cvent comes with it’s own email engine you can use to send out your surveys. We also provide a survey link you can post on your website or other sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. The email tool is very easy to use. You can create HTML messages and a plain text version to ensure your emails are delivered. You set your own from name and from email addresses so your recipients trust the email actually came from you – using recognizable names will get you higher response rates. In addition, you can track open rates and click through for your emails to measure their success. We also keep you CAN-SPAM compliant by automatically removing opt outs from your email list.

Since I’m talking about emails, I should include the power of the contact database. If you use the Cvent email survey feature to send out survey invitations, it does a few things that are pretty powerful. First, if you’re fielding a survey that collects contact information, any information you already have will be pre-populated for the respondent. This saves them time when answering your survey because they will only need to update any information that’s changed – any updated information will automatically be updated in the individual contact record as well. Second, you can send reminders to those on your list who have not yet completed your survey or if they’ve only partially completed the survey.

* Being able to see your data after you collect survey responses is probably the most important part of the process. For that reason, we have lots of pre-built reports for you to quickly run so you can see the data you need and analyze it to make critical business decisions. But if we don’t have a report pre-built for you, you can easily create a custom report to see the data the way you want to. We even give you the ability to build a presentation using your data right there in the tool itself.
